We know from the Gospels that when he was on earth, Jesus treated the women around Him with respect and dignity. He loved and respected His mother. He healed those who suffered illnesses, he forgave those who sinned. He gave the Samaritan woman Living Water. He died for us on the cross, so we may have eternal life in heaven with God. He pours His Holy Spirit on us. Jesus loves us!
As disciples of Christ, we all need to grow in our walk in and relationship with Jesus. Following the examples of the early church, we study His Word together, forge nurturing friendships and fellowship with one another. This is why we have a Women's Ministry.
The women in our church have very important roles in the Kingdom of God. One of the things we do to encourage one another is get together in small groups to study His Word, to have fellowship and pray together. We also plan to have a Spring Retreat for the women.
Altogether Beautiful is a video-based Bible study of the Song of Songs that explores what it means to be loved fiercely and called beautiful by the God of the Universe. This eight-week study walks through each chapter to not only help participants better understand and apply the wisdom offered in the Song, but also challenge them to securely ground their identity in the one who makes them beautiful - Jesus.
Designed so that you can choose how much time and energy you feel you can commit at this particular season in your life, there is no “right way” to do this study. The goal is to take the Word of God into your heart each day, gain insight from the Word and from one another, and come to Him in prayer and thanksgiving as you hear what He has to say to you: you are free and beautiful in Christ Jesus.
Do you like to knit, crochet, or do other hand crafts? Come join others working on their projects on the first Saturday of each month from 10am to noon in the fire pit. We can inspire each other in our craft and our faith in Christ as we work on our projects, share a devotion, and pray together.
